About Ashley Dinzey

Ashley Dinzey is a strategic problem solver and connector who thrives on building partnerships and developing processes that drive mission-driven organizations forward. With more than a decade of experience in public service, she brings a dynamic skill set in project management, communications, and strategic development.

Before joining Chicago Tech Circle, Ashley worked as a consultant for Break Through Tech Chicago, where she helped advance its mission to increase gender diversity in the tech industry. She also served as an Integrated Brand Marketing Consultant at UNICEF USA, where she informed marketing strategies for high-profile partnerships with companies like Expedia, Microsoft, MAC Viva Glam, and Marriott — efforts that generated more than $12 million in revenue. Additionally, she has held roles with the Mayor’s Office of New York City, managing citywide events, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications.

Passionate about equity and systemic change, Ashley has dedicated her career to building opportunities that uplift diverse communities. In addition to her professional work, she is the co-founder of Our Heritage Outside, an initiative dedicated to amplifying the stories of unsung Black heroes and celebrating the contributions of Communities of Color in America’s history of nature preservation. Through this work, she seeks to ensure that Black influence in the national parks is recognized and appreciated by visitors, historians, educators, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

While she’s a proud city girl and Chicagoan, Ashley jumps at any excuse to be outdoors—whether that’s kayaking, hiking, or exploring National Parks. When she’s not outside, you can usually find her knitting or crocheting on her couch with her rescue Aussie mix, Maya Papaya.
