Chicago Tech Circle creates a space where different backgrounds and perspectives genuinely shape the work. Coming from Turkey and going through the experience of building a new life in a completely different environment, I learned early that the people who approach problems differently are often the ones who catch what everyone else misses.
That belief showed up every week in the Intro to Data + AI course. I watched students tackle the same dataset from completely different angles, one thinking through the business implications, another focused on the model logic, another drawing on an experience no one else in the room had. The final product was always stronger for it. It seems like that commitment to diversity runs through Chicago Tech Circle’s DNA.
CTC does not flatten everyone into the same kind of thinker. It rewards the student who has lived a different story, worked in a different field, or sees the problem from a different angle. That is rare, and I think it is one of the most valuable things about the program.
