Chicago Tech Circle offers data and AI skill-building that can unlock work opportunities.

Why is that important to you?

Consider this

In Illinois, 1 out of every 4 jobs seeks a candidate who knows how to use data.

Demand for workers who have data and AI skills is expected to grow by 60 percent by 2027.

Jobs in nearly every career field use — or are being changed by — data and AI.

Data, AI, and you

Do data and AI sound intriguing? Well, good news — you can get involved in them without changing your UIC major or career plan.

They are skills you can pair with whatever you want to do.

Flip the cards below to see a few examples (there are thousands!) of how various industries are using data and AI.

Why CTC?

Now’s the time to gain the data and AI knowledge you will need later.

  • Acquire marketable skills while earning academic credits
  • Interact with students from different backgrounds
  • Think critically and collaboratively to improve business and social outcomes

Who can participate?

Any UIC undergraduate who has completed at least 30 college credits may apply to CTC. We especially invite students who are pursuing majors outside of computing disciplines, including social sciences, liberal arts and sciences, business, humanities, and engineering.

No prior experience with data or AI is needed. CTC will build your skills from the ground up.
